Chandra Bahadur Dangi world's shortest man, 72-year-old of Nepal. According to Guinness World Records, Dangi stands at 21.5 inches tall and hails from the mountain village, Reemkholi, about 250 miles outside Kathmandu. Dangi has never received a checkup from a doctor, and had never garnered outside attention until recently when a forest contractor cutting timber in the village met him and informed local media. "I'm very happy that I'm being recognized by Guinness World Records and that my name will be written in book," Dangi said in a statement. "It's a big thing for my family, my village and my country.
